Lepida ScpA is an In house providing company established by Regional Law (11/2004). It was created in the end of 2007 by the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government (as unique shareholder and founder). Currently it counts 435 shareholders, all Public Administrations and Public Entities.
Lepida designs, realizes and manages broadband infrastructures for the regional public administrations and it is involved in the governance of the Regional ICT Plan (PiTER, a five year framework programme on Information Society run by the Regional Government, namely the Regional Digital Agenda).
Lepida is responsible for planning, development and management of the ICT infrastructures, definition and implementation of actions to reduce the Digital Divide development and supply of ICT services for the Public Administrations.
